Alan Watts gives us a clear and inspirational speech on Taoism and paints a beautiful picture of the D(T)aoist way of life. The Dao holds space for free flow of toughts, it allows questioning and is to me completely enchanting.

Alan Watts, philosopher, writer, published over 40 books during the last century on the subject and he was well known for introducing eastern thinking to westerners.

Quick Heart Check-In

When you wake up in the morning still lying in bed snoozing, when you feel over whelmed, when you feel heavy, down or when you are feeling happy, when you want to connect.

Close your eyes, start breathing in and out of your nose, come to pay total attention to your breath until you feel completely relaxed. Then bring your attention to your heart center. Breath into this area and when you feel ready, place your left hand over your heart center. Now just observe what this area feels like, without judgement without wanting to change whatever you are feeling. Is it feeling Warm? Tense? Open? Vibrating? Just observe, acknowledge and accept.

Try to just inject some heart connection in your daily routine, for it is easy to forget about our loving & limitless heart space.

Teaching Update

I have been teaching more classes with the gym now, about eight in just one week, and today I  could for the first time step into the class without being scared of what the participants would think of me or of how my voice sounded. I felt connected and comfortable with being in the front, wearing a mic, and I even injected a little guided meditation. The response I got from the participants was overwhelming, absolute stillness and gratitude we filled the room with.

Where you can come take my class

Today I am instructing my first Yin Yoga class at Sats which has gyms located all over Scandinavia. I signed my contract to have a regular class on Fridays and today I am taking an extra class, I volunteer to take on a lot of extra classes since I am new to the gym, this way I can go around the different gym spots in Gothenburg with the same name and get familiar with the participants and my new work place. I am excited to keep spreading the peace and stillness that a Yin practice rewards us practitioners with, it is a challenge but a very exciting one to learn how to incorporate this typ of style into a more Yang environment.
